Our Vision and Values

Jesus says, “All things are possible if you believe.”

The philosophy for learning at our school is summarised in our school vision statement and links to the Church of England's vision for education; educating for hope, community, wisdom and dignity.

All Saints Church School Vision

Jesus says, “All things are possible if you believe.”

And we believe that by working together, we can grow the very best, bespoke version of All Saints Church School.

If we can ignite, inspire and nurture curiosity and creativity, self-motivation and self-confidence, then

All things will be possible if we believe…

If we value and nurture the sparkle of all individuals, in a safe learning environment, with equality underpinning all efforts, children will be able to be the best version of themselves, valuing their own self-worth, knowing that

All things will be possible if we believe…

If we create a culture of compassion, trust and shared values, ensuring we all work together – both within the school and as part of the wider community - then

All things will be possible if we believe…

If, by utilising an extraordinarily talented team of adults, we can encourage trial and error to help develop resilience and perseverance, our children will become lifelong learners and

All things will be possible if we believe…

If by peeling back the layers of understanding we have a greater wisdom of life; little by little, deeper and deeper and day by day,

As Jesus says,

“All things will be possible if we believe,”

And we believe it is!

Our Christian Values

During the year 2022 All Saints Church School reviewed their Christian vision and values. This was an in-depth process that unified the opinions and thoughts from all members of the school community.

An Ethos committee, led by school leaders, helps to focus and embed our core values.

In June 2022, governors were invited to join classes across the school, gaining a deeper understanding of how the provision for children supported the understanding and embedding of each of our six Christian values;

Friendship, Love, Respect, Community, Perseverance and Wisdom.

Classes were each given a value to explore, and each class created an artistic representation in poster form.

Each governor now has a value assigned to them and they advocate for their value to ensure it is well embedded in school practice.

Our values form a focus during collective worship, in personal and social education, our wider curriculum, within our school rules and in the way we treat each other. Each half-term we focus on one of our values, reflecting on how we can improve life for all and how the Bible is a resource when learning about these values.
