Librarians
The school library is the hub of the school and is a place of learning and enjoyment. A team of Year 6 librarians organise the library to ensure that it is always a welcoming place to be and to support the younger pupils to make the most of all that the library has to offer. Any child wishing to be a librarian must apply in writing before attending an interview which involves a presentation.
We also run an outside library called the Wild Library. Here the librarians have set up baskets of books and blankets for children to read outside in the forest area or in our outdoor shelter.
To celebrate the hard work of the librarians, we always have a librarians' tea party at the end of the year.
